Botox for crows feet and forehead wrinkles

Botox is a very popular neurotoxin that will relax the muscles of the face that cause wrinkles to be visible. It works by reducing or stopping the signals from the nerve to the muscle and prevents muscle contraction. The result is smoother skin for a more youthful and rested appearance. It takes up to a week to see the best results and results last for 3-4 months. Possibly longer in some people.

Common Improvements seen with BOTOX include skin smoothing and brow lifting. These safe and time-tested injections are a minimally invasive way to reduce crow’s feet and reduce wrinkles around the eyes, nose and mouth.

Botox injections are well tolerated and have very little to no downtime for most patients. At R&R Skin and Body we recommend not laying or bending down for 4 hours after the injections. Also be sure to not massage the area so the neurotoxin can stay where it was injected without dissipating. Mild swelling or mosquito size bumps may last 2-3 hours. Bruising may occur and resolves in a few days.

Hyaluronic Acid based cosmetic fillers are amongst the safest and the results are immediate.

Hyaluronic Acid is structurally similar to collagen and has the same appearance when injected into various areas and depths of the face. In addition to directly adding volume to the face, it stimulates new collagen formation and acts as a scaffolding for the new collagen.

Because it is a naturally occurring substance in the human body, there is a near-zero risk of an allergic reaction.

Restylane

Restylane family of products are indicated for patients over the age of 21, and includes Restylane®, Restylane-L®, Restylane® Lyft with Lidocaine, Restylane® Silk, Restylane® Refyne, Restylane® Defyne and Restylane® Kysse. Restylane® and Restylane-L® are for mid-to-deep injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Restylane® and Restylane-L® are also indicated for injection into the lips.

JUVÉDERM^® INJECTABLE GEL FILLERS INDICATIONS JUVÉDERM VOLUMA^® XC injectable gel is for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss in adults over 21. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC injectable gel is for injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds) in adults over 21.
